THE MAIN HOUSE
Baan Mamuang is a modern villa with guesthouse in a most spectacular and peaceful location on the unspoilt south coast of Koh Samui. The pool, a few steps from the living room, allows you to cool-off at any time. The rental cost includes an English-speaking live-in housekeeper who cooks superbly and can even shop for you on her motorbike.

Set on a steep hill amidst huge granite boulders and shaded by mature mango trees, the house is designed as an elegant and comfortable tropical retreat and hideaway. It is cooled by cross-ventilation and gentle sea breezes most of the year.
The expansive living room (14 x 10 meters) gives on to a wide sea view and a luxuriant garden on three sides. You may well be tempted just to spend the day just gazing out across the Gulf of Thailand to its beautiful islands and the mainland in the distance. A two-person hammock is strung between mango trees growing through the south-facing deck. There is a well-equipped kitchen. A home cinema and satellite television provides evening entertainment.
A second secluded sitting room at the lower level provides a private space for reading, working in peace or listening to music while gazing at the islands.
There are two spacious air-conditioned double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms both with sea views and framed by mango and coconut trees. The master bedroom has its own private balcony with hammock. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be positioned together to form a double. A child’s bed can be provided on request.
With its own 2,600 square-meter garden of mature trees and spectacular granite rocks, Baan Mamuang (Mango Villa) — your tropical home-from-home — is part of the emerging Nagalaya Development, which prides itself as an environmentally sensitive haven.
