The island of Ko Samui is just one hour’s flight south of Bangkok. It is served by some 20-25 flights a day from there. On the island, car hire is inexpensive and driving conditions good. You need to have a car available when staying at Nagalaya. The island is about 25 kms north to south and 20 kms wide.  Good shopping is abundant, medical facilities excellent, plenty of beaches and surrounding islands offer some of the best snorkelling and diving available. Like everywhere in Thailand the food is wonderful! The Nagalaya ‘Home Page’ gives a good description of what our Community is all about. There really is nowhere that compares to Nagalaya on the island. Sloping hillsides with magnificent views, large, well maintained community grounds, pool and sala, no walls or fences, and beautiful gardens set within the natural landscape. Every villa has been individually designed to meet each owner’s wishes, ideas, concepts and dreams.

The house set in 1600 Sq Mtrs of garden is very easy to run and comfortable. It has two main bedrooms, where children can also stay, two reception rooms, one which can double as another bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, and verandas facing south and south west. The main entrance to the house climbs wooden stairs with a tiled roof supported by coconut columns. The upper level contains the kitchen, dining/living areas and front open deck. Below lies the master bedroom with an indoor/outdoor bathroom. It has direct access to the garden. The second bedroom tucked down into boulders also has garden access with a self contained living room above. Daily housekeeping and garden maintenance is included.

 A plunge pool and sala are planned in Baan Aarami, but meanwhile the beautiful community pool, clubhouse and yoga sala are only 70 mtrs up the hill behind the house.

Please note that Nagalaya is a developing community and there is still some construction in progress. This means that during weekdays from 9-5 there can be some noise or disturbance in this normally tranquil setting. The majority of the houses are now built and once the whole community is completed, rental prices will no doubt increase. Meanwhile Baan Aarami offers extremely good value for money.
