Nagalaya - A Tropical Sanctuary

Nagalaya  consists of 28 private homes on the tropical island of Koh Samui on the southern  peninsular of  Thailand. The homes are set on a beautiful hillside  amongst granite boulders,coconut,tamarind and mango trees. 

Design guidelines ensure there is privacy and space in Nagalaya. Forty per cent of the toal area comprises commuity landscaped gardens and each individually designed home fits well into the landscape. All homes have expansive views of the  off shore islands, ocean or lagoon as well as magical sunrises or sunsets . Most are designed to take best advanatge of the warm climate but with airconditioned bedrooms. Often with indoor/outdoor bathrooms set amongst the boulders.

Apart from the views, Nagalaya is just a super place to come to relax and to use as a base for travels around. 

Nagalaya has a large community swimming pool set in a lush garden with a yoga pavilion, clubhouse and changing rooms. Guests enjoy this area as a place to socialize, relax or attend fitness or yoga classes. A climb above leads to a granite peak, the remnant of an ancient mountain range submerged by the sea lies at the center of the estate  With  special viewing areas you can  enjoy the  panorama of the central forest covered hills of Samui, the coastal coconut palm groves and the Gulf of Siam.

Nagalaya is a 40 minute drive from the airport & can be reached  by direct flight from Bangkok, Hong Kong, Phuket, Penang & Singapore. 

Surrounding activities, include long-tail boat visits to neighbouring islands for  snorkeling, picnics, swimming and sunbathing Also available nearby are horseriding, kite boarding, the butterfly garden, tiger zoo, aquarium, elephant riding,  bird & monkey shows and for the youngsters even  paint balling .For partying Lamai is 15mins away with lots of bars and restaurants. Or if you just want to chill out you can relax around the pool and have a massage in your home. A trip to the diverse culture and wonderful countryside, lakes and national parks on the mainland is just a pleasant 1.5 hour ferry ride away.
